Eating :The New Shezan (Rusholme)

Saturday Morning - Breakfast, on to the tourist information, pick up tickets for play (Mirandalina) and then walking tour of city centre

Saturday Afternoon – Coffee at cafe uno, chill out in the Oxford Road park and then on to the Play

Saturday Night – Pubs : Sinclairs, Sam's chop house, Old Grey Horse, The Castle and the Unicorn

The old Shezan has closed down (a lowlight)

The Castle Pub is still open !

Having settled down in the park on Oxford Road for a few hours, a wedding party of 500 people arrive for photographs !

We get the best seats ever for the Royal Exchange

Pete has a sudden attach of cramp and decides to use the Royal Exchange as an exercise floor

Huge amounts of new buildings since we were last there

Steve - "Don't you remember the night club we used to go to that had nude nights on a Wednesday"

David - "I bet that Wright Robinson hall hasn't changed since it was built about 30 years ago".
Steve  - "I think it was more that that - we were here 25 years ago !"

Pete - "I don't understand it - we were in a cafe which sold food and now we have left to go look for food !"

David - (looking at the film crews on the UMIST campus) "I haven't seen them do any filming yet"
Steve - "Perhaps it's a period drama "

David - "I thought we might go see a play at the Royal Exchange"
Steve - "Has it got any girlies in it ?"
