Saturday Morning - Breakfast at the Soul Cafe (fantastic) then the Maritime Museum

Saturday Afternoon – Sandwiches at the Albert dock, a whistle-stop tour of Liverpool's architectural heritage and then to the FACT cinema to see "Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer

Saturday NightPubs : The Ship and Mitre (and others)

Highlights

  • Steve's idea to get a taxi driver to take us to and Indian restaurant is a great success (apart from the restaurant being closed !)
  • Pete sleeps in the car (again) due to Nigel's snoring
  • Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer (ok - so maybe that's a lowlight !)
  • The taste of dark mild is resurrected
  • We discover that Darts is not our strong point !
  • Having hung on to his umbrella all day in Liverpool, David finally leaves it in the last pub
  • Pete nominates Steve for the 'quietist snorer award'
  • David discovers that the best way to do a circular tour of Liverpool is to try to use his GPS to find Wetherspoons
