Highlights

  • Looking for Eric" - the best film we have seen in ages
  • We spend seemingly most of Saturday in the Eagle shopping centre looking for a theatre which doesn't open until September 2009 !
  • As he is too old to chat up the birds, Steve decides to chat up the bird-watchers (Peregrine  Falcons are resident in the tower of Derby Cathedral)
  • Pete does an excellent job of guiding us around the Derby hostelries
  • Instead of the usual debate about politics, we have a debate about politicians
