Pete, Nigel and David arrive to a Scarborough soaked in torrential rain but.. it does clear up on Saturday

Pete is struggling with a knee injury and despite not making a big thing of it, is clearly 'suffering'. We have to multiply estimated walking times by two!

Steve decides that the best way to navigate to a new pub is to search on Google for 'Camra Pubs' - We dutifully follow him along backstreets only to end up at
the same pub we went to the night before

We think that the seafront maybe quiet at this time of year but don't realise that hundreds of ageing bikers have descended upon Scarborough for the annual
'bike event'

Nigel agrees to be the latest employer for a semi-retired David (he always was into charitable work !)

The Brazilian landlady at the B&B tries to engage Nigel in a Portuguese chat but he pretends he knows no Portuguese !

The band at Indigo Alley has a drummer who looks more like she would be a librarian than a drummer.

Having left the Indigo Alley pub as the band is (good but) a bit loud, at the next pub it is Karaoke night ! We make a swift exit

Steve : “I have this cousin who is going through a divorce so just wants to party all the time - it is great !”

Pete: "So why would you build a miniature steam train and then stick a diesel engine in it ?!

David: "I cant believe we have picked the only cafe that has the Gent's downstairs !" (Pete is struggling to walk down steps)

Pete: "These are fake chips !"

Pete (to Steve): "So why would you recommend and iPhone over an Android phone then ?"
Steve: "Well - the iPhone has some of my company's technology in it"
David : "So..Android phones don't have your company's technology in ?"
Steve: "Yes - Android phones do as well"

Nigel: “We could go to Glasgow next year”
Pete: "There are no pubs and no beer in Glasgow"
David: "There is lots to do in Glasgow"
Pete: "There are no pubs and no beer in Glasgow"
David: "We could always go to Blackpool instead ?"
Pete: "How about we go to Glasgow next year ?"
