Saturday Afternoon – Back into the City Centre then Pictures at the Showroom Cinema (After the Storm)

Saturday Night – Pubs : The Sheffield Tap, Shakespear's, Kelham Island Tavern, The Fat Cat, The Bessemer
Eating Chinos ('lively' Kebab Shop !)

Sunday Morning – Breakfast at The Sheaf Island

Great weather on Saturday and brilliant to stroll round the Botanical Gardens.

Japanese film in an 'arty' Cinema so ... Steve falls asleep.

We think that the Air Ambulance looks very close and then .. it lands right in front of us.

The horrors of the grinder's wheel exposed at the Weston Park Museum.

No luck finding chip shops in Sheffield but GREAT pork pie instead.

We decide in venues for the MEDE do's for the next three years !
 

Steve: "The best thing about this CNN technology is that it is really simple.. so - even I can understand it !"

Steve: "I am not sure what I got out of that film ?"
All: "Twenty minutes kip..."

Steve:"I have checked my FitBit and we have walked 27,453 steps which is 12.7 miles"
Pete: "What a load of rubbish - I will check mine. ... Oh - mine says 27,453 steps and 12.7 miles as well !"

Steve: "I must be getting old and losing my touch. I put out feelers about getting another job and it was nearly 10 minutes before I got an offer.."

Pete (In the Kelham Island Tavern): "Your largest Pork Pie please landlord .. and don't spare the Mustard"
Pete (In the Fat Cat): "Do you serve Pork Pies ?"
David (On the way to the Bessemer): "Pete - any suggestions for the next Pub ?"
Pete : "I dont mind as long as they sell Pork Pies..."
