Highlights
Bright sun and heavy rain alternate every 10 minutes !
A long wait for breakfast at the Warsaw diner but WELL worth
it.A nice rest for David and Steve as Pete becomes
official 'Tourist Guide'.We feel that we deserve our
beers on Saturday as we have done 11 miles of walking! We
go to Wollaton Hall for some peace and tranquility only to discover that the biggest music festival in Nottingham (Splendour)
is being held that day! A cheap weekend as we forgo the
traditional curry for takeaway food.We see the most
civilised Hen Party ever. Middle aged women in a trendy pub
drinking ... pots of tea !We decide that is is expedient
NOT to try one of the real ales at The Barley Twist as it is
.. 12.5% Alcohol !
