Saturday Afternoon – Fothergills (for cups of tea),  Broadway Cinema (Yesterday), chips at the Lace Market Fish Bar

Saturday Night – Pubs : The Canal House, The Trip to Jerusalem, The Crafty Crow, The Hand and Heart
Eating Nothing! - We decide to stick to a 'liquid dinner'

Sunday Morning – Breakfast at The Premier Inn Nottingam Arena

Bright sun and heavy rain alternate every 10 minutes !

A long wait for breakfast at the Warsaw diner but WELL worth it.

A nice rest for David and Steve as Pete becomes official 'Tourist Guide'.

We feel that we deserve our beers on Saturday as we have done 11 miles of walking!

We go to Wollaton Hall for some peace and tranquility only to discover that the biggest music festival in Nottingham (Splendour) is being held that day!

A cheap weekend as we forgo the traditional curry for takeaway food.

We see the most civilised Hen Party ever. Middle aged women in a trendy pub drinking ... pots of tea !

We decide that is is expedient NOT to try one of the real ales at The Barley Twist as it is .. 12.5% Alcohol !
 

Steve: "We are having trouble recruiting Data Scientists"
David: "So what is it a Data Scientist ?"
Steve: "I have absoulutely no idea"

TJ (Steve's wife - back at St Albans):"I want our place in Cornwall to be a Shaggy Sheep style"
Steve: "What is a 'Shaggy Sheep Style' ?"
TJ:"You know - eclectic with pastel colours"
Steve: "Ah - you mean 'Shabby Chic' " 

David: "So where are we going for our curry tonight ?"
Steve: "What about that long road full of Indian Restaurants that we used to go to ?" 
Pete: "That is in Rusholme in.. Manchester !" 

All : "Isn't Boris Johnson going to be a great Prime Minister and isn't Donald Trump a LOVELY Man ?" - Ok Ok I might have made that quote up...
