Pubs : Rutland Arms (didn’t go in - No Real Ale!), Nell Gwynne (Went in and came out - No Real Ale !),Golden Eagle, Lawrence Arms. 
Eating : Yummies Kebab!

Wednesday Morning - Breakfast (Wetherspoons - The Lord Palmerston ), Walk to Southsea Castle.

Wednesday Afternoon – Vue at Gunwharf Quays ("Lee")

Wednesday Night –
Pubs : Spice Island,  Bridge Tavern, Pembroke, Barley Mow, Hole In The Wall.
Eating : T & J Mahal Indian.

Thursday Morning – Peter and Steve head back by Car. David and Nigel discover another Wetherspoons (The John Jacques) for breakfast and a quick work meeting.

The Ibis Budget hotel is budget with a capital 'B'. No tea and coffee making and rooms like a cross between a hospital and 80's student accommodation!

We discover TWO pubs with Bar Billiards tables !!

Nigel realises he hasnt quite got the Steve Harris 'Gift of the Gab' when he fails to sweet-talk the the Landlady in the Golden Eagle into making Pies for us.

Peter still struggling a bit with walking after his Op but we STILL manage to walk (according to David's step counter) around 10.5 miles on Wednesday!

The film we see (Lee) is good but we decide that we really need to see something more 'uplifting' next time !

We agree on Manchester for our (40th Anniversary !!) trip next year.

David and Peter agree that advancing years have DEFINITELY not improved their Bar Billiards skills. !

We walk about 1/2 a mile to a Curry place as the one we passed didnt look great. Only to find that the one we have walked to is just closing.

Peter (In the Kebab shop):"Just a small kebab please"
Nigel (In the Kebab shop):"Just a small kebab please"
Steve (In the Kebab shop):"Just a small kebab please"
Nigel (To Steve): "You could get a large chips with yours and then we could all share them"

Steve (Nigel): "I could easily get you a $5m investment in your Company (though David may have to work a few more hours)"

Steve: "It was South-West, no.. North-West, no.. South East, ..no North-East"

Steve: "Do NOT get me started on 'Dog Ice Cream' !"
